Esmeralda Nile Cruise

Trip highlights

  • Aswan: Philae Temple and the High Dam, as described in the daily programme.
  • Kom Ombo and Edfu temple visits during the river journey.
  • Luxor East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temple.
  • Luxor West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon.
  • Operator-published 25 m² Deluxe Cabins and 40 m² Presidential Suites.

Overview

Esmeralda is a Nile cruise option for travellers comparing the cabin itself as carefully as the temple route. The vessel’s own accommodation pages list a 25 m² Deluxe Cabin and a 40 m² Presidential Suite, with French balconies and individually controlled air conditioning. The operator also reports a renovation in 2025. These are vessel specifications; your quote must identify the cabin category actually being booked.

What this Esmeralda programme covers

The four-day, three-night itinerary begins in Aswan and ends in Luxor. It combines Philae and the High Dam with Kom Ombo, Edfu and the Luxor visits on both banks. The daily programme below sets out the sightseeing order. Full-board accommodation, the listed transfers and English-speaking guiding are included; extra meals, beverages and optional tours are separate.

Compare cabins before confirming

A Deluxe Cabin and a Presidential Suite should not be compared as the same product. Send your dates, number of guests and preferred room type so the written quote can confirm the accommodation. For another cabin-and-suite comparison, see Chateau Lafayette; for the wider selection, browse Deluxe Nile Cruises.

Vessel references checked 30 October 2026: Esmeralda accommodation specifications and operator renovation information. Package inclusions are those listed below.

Questions about this trip

What is the published difference between Esmeralda’s cabin and suite?

The operator lists the Deluxe Cabin at 25 m² and the Presidential Suite at 40 m². Ask for the chosen room category to be named in the quote; the starting price is not a promise of a suite.

Does this Esmeralda itinerary finish in Luxor?

Yes. This four-day programme starts in Aswan and finishes in Luxor after the river stops and the listed sightseeing. Send your departure details so they can be checked against the final day.

Are Esmeralda’s operator packages the same as this booking?

The vessel’s website describes its own accommodation and optional packages. Your Book Nile Cruises booking is governed by the price and inclusions confirmed with our team, rather than every service shown on the operator’s website.
