Chateau Lafayette Nile Cruise

Trip highlights

  • Aswan: Philae Temple and the High Dam, as described in the daily programme.
  • Kom Ombo and Edfu temple visits during the river journey.
  • Luxor East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temple.
  • Luxor West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon.
  • Choice of Standard Cabin or operator-published 35 m² Deluxe Suite.

Overview

Chateau Lafayette offers a choice between a Standard Cabin and a Deluxe Suite. Its own accommodation pages list the Deluxe Suite at 35 m² and describe individual air-conditioning controls, a television, minibar and private safe. The room category matters when comparing this ship with another Nile cruise: a suite quotation should not be treated as the same offer as a standard cabin.

A three-night journey from Aswan

This programme starts in Aswan, visits Kom Ombo and Edfu during the sailing section and finishes with Luxor’s East and West Bank sites. It includes full-board cruise accommodation, the listed private vehicle transfers and an English-speaking Egyptologist. Monument entrance fees, extra meals and beverages, optional tours and tips are excluded.

Details to settle before booking

Ask for the Standard Cabin or Deluxe Suite to be named in the confirmation, along with the sailing date and accommodation arrangement for your party. No cabin location or quietness guarantee is made here. Compare the cabin options with Esmeralda, or return to the deluxe cruise selection.

Vessel references checked 30 October 2026: operator’s Standard Cabin page and Deluxe Suite specifications. The operator’s standard-cabin size descriptions are inconsistent, so no fixed standard-cabin area is quoted here.
