Lake Nasser Nile Cruises

Cruises between Aswan and Abu Simbel, visiting Nubian temples around Lake Nasser. Choose your direction and confirm the arrival and departure arrangements.

Lake Nasser is a different journey from Luxor–Aswan

These cruises connect Aswan and Abu Simbel through Nubian temple sites around Lake Nasser. They do not visit Luxor, Edfu and Kom Ombo as part of the same river sailing. If those are the places you want, start with the classic Nile cruise options instead.

Choose your direction before arranging transport

Movenpick Prince Abbas, MS Nubian Sea and Steigenberger Omar El Khayam describe a three-night Abu Simbel-to-Aswan option and a four-night Aswan-to-Abu Simbel option. The starting and finishing points are different, so your arrival and departure transport must match the selected programme.

Read the individual Nubian temple programme

The listed routes include combinations of Amada, Wadi el-Sebua, Dakka, Kalabsha, Beit el-Wali and Abu Simbel. Use the daily programme to see which visits are planned and distinguish a sightseeing stop from a view while sailing. Entrance fees are excluded in the listed offers, even where guiding and the sightseeing arrangements are included.

Send your travel dates, desired direction and any Cairo or Luxor extension when requesting a quote. A road or flight excursion to Abu Simbel from Aswan is a separate travel format from an overnight Lake Nasser cruise.
