Luxury Dahabiya Nile Cruise

Small-vessel Nile journeys with different routes and boarding points. Compare the dahabiya programme and confirm whether the quote is for a cabin or a whole-boat charter.

Choose the dahabiya route and boarding point

Dahabiya programmes are not all the same length or route. Some sail between Esna and Aswan and combine the sailing with a Luxor transfer and sightseeing. Others include Luxor as part of the longer river programme. Check the actual embarkation point before booking an airport transfer or hotel.

Compare the programmes, not just the boat names

Assouan Dahabiya describes a six-day route with Esna, El Kab, island stops and Jabal al-Silsila. Three Pyramids describes three- and four-night options. The eight-day Sonesta Amirat programme is a longer Luxor-to-Aswan itinerary. These should not be compared as identical stays.

A cabin booking is different from a whole-boat charter

A small vessel can still carry other guests. Ask whether the offer is for a cabin on a scheduled sailing or a charter for your party, and have the arrangement written into the quote. Confirm the room type, meal plan, included visits, admission fees and transfers separately.

If you prefer a larger ship with a different range of shared facilities, compare the Nile cruise selection. For dahabiya enquiries, include your dates, group size, desired route and whether you need an individual cabin or a charter quotation.
