Day 013 Nights – Abu Simbel to Aswan
Day 02Arrival in Abu Simbel & Temple Visit
Arrive in Abu Simbel and check in to your cruise at noon. Enjoy lunch onboard before visiting the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples—the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, both masterpieces of the New Kingdom.
In the evening, attend the mesmerizing Sound & Light Show before enjoying dinner onboard.

Day 03Qasr Ibrim, Amada & Wadi Al-Sabwa
After breakfast, sail toward Qasr Ibrim, the only Nubian monument still standing in its original location (viewed from the ship). Continue sailing to Amada, one of the region’s most exquisitely painted temples.
After lunch, sail to Wadi Al-Sabwa, where you end your day with the enchanting evening Light Show.

Day 04Wadi Al-Sabwa, Dakka & Sail to Aswan
Begin your morning with a visit to the Temple of Wadi Al-Sabwa, built by Ramses II and guarded by an avenue of sphinx statues. Continue to the Temple of Dakka, dedicated to Thoth, god of wisdom.
Return to the cruise and sail toward Aswan, enjoying dinner and a lively Nubian cultural show onboard.

Day 05Kalabsha, Beit El-Wali & Departure

Questions about this trip
Where does the Nubian Sea cruise operate?
It operates on Lake Nasser between Aswan and Abu Simbel. It does not sail through Edfu and Kom Ombo on the Luxor–Aswan stretch of the Nile.
How do the Nubian Sea directions differ?
The Abu Simbel-to-Aswan programme has three nights, while the Aswan-to-Abu Simbel programme has four. Both include a sequence of Nubian temple visits around the lake.
Are tickets to the Nubian temples included?
No. The programme includes sightseeing arrangements and an English-speaking Egyptologist, but entrance fees to the mentioned sites are excluded.
