Day 01Tour to Grand Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Old Cairo

Our first stop is the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located near the Giza Pyramids. Prepare to be amazed by this architectural marvel. Upon entry, you will be greeted by the Hanging Obelisk and the colossal 3,200-year-old statue of Ramses II. Ascend the Grand Staircase, lined with dozens of royal statues and sarcophagi, leading you to the galleries that house the complete collection of King Tutankhamun—over 5,000 artifacts displayed together for the first time.
Next, we will head to the historic Citadel of Salah El-Din, a medieval Islamic fort located on Mokattam Hill. As we climb up to the Citadel, enjoy the panoramic views of the Cairo skyline and the majestic Nile River. Marvel at the Hanging Church (Church of St. Virgin Mary), one of the oldest churches in Egypt, known for its unique location above a Roman fortress gate. Explore the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Church of Abu Serga, where the Holy Family is believed to have taken refuge.
