Overview
Embark on an exhilarating Overnight Tour to White Desert and Bahariya Oasis. Depart from Cairo to explore the enchanting Black Desert, the refreshing springs of Al-Hiz Village, and the sparkling Crystal Mountain. Witness the surreal limestone formations of the White Desert, including the famous “Mushroom” and “Chicken” rock sculptures. The highlight of the trip is setting up camp in the open desert to sleep under a breathtaking blanket of stars. The next day, enjoy breakfast in the tranquil wilderness before returning to Cairo.
Itinerary
Day 01Bahariya Oasis & White Desert Adventure
Embark on an exciting journey from Cairo in the early morning (approx. 4-hour drive). Upon arrival at Bahariya Oasis, we switch to a well-equipped 4x4 Land Cruiser to begin our off-road adventure.
Visit the captivating Black Desert, known for its volcanic hills, and stop at the El Hez Village to see the cold springs. Enjoy a delightful lunch amidst these remarkable landscapes.
Continue towards the Crystal Mountain, a ridge of sparkling quartz crystals, and drive through the picturesque Aqapat Valley (Valley of Wonders) with its dramatic rock formations. Finally, reach the White Desert National Park. Explore the mesmerizing limestone sculptures, such as the "Mushroom," "Chicken," and "Tents" formations.
As the sun sets, we will set up our camp in the heart of the White Desert. Enjoy a delicious dinner cooked over an open fire and spend the night sleeping under the breathtaking starlit sky.

Day 02Sunrise & Return to Cairo
Wake up to a stunning desert sunrise and savor a delectable breakfast at the campsite. Take some final photos of the serene beauty of the desert before packing up.
Our jeep will transport us back to the Bahariya Oasis, where we will transfer back to our private car for the journey back to Cairo. You will be dropped off at your hotel in the afternoon.

Yes. The itinerary has a first desert day and a second day with sunrise and the return to Cairo. Confirm the overnight accommodation format in your written quote before booking.
Do we use the same vehicle for the road and desert sections?
The included transport separates the Cairo–Bahariya road journey from the 4x4 jeep used inside the desert. The desert section is not described as a standard city-vehicle transfer.
