04:30 AM (Approx): Departure from Aswan Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Aswan. You will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan International Airport for your short flight (approx. 1 hour 25 minutes) to Cairo.
Arrival & The Giza Plateau Upon arrival in Cairo, your private Egyptologist guide will welcome you at the airport. You will head directly to the Giza Plateau, home to the legendary Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Your guide will unravel the mysteries of their construction and the lives of the kings they were built for. You will then proceed to the valley to stand before the Great Sphinx and visit the Valley Temple, the site of ancient mummification rituals.
Lunch & The City Center After a morning of ancient wonders, relax and recharge with a sumptuous Lunch at a top-rated local restaurant, where you can sample authentic Egyptian dishes.
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square Continue to the Egyptian Museum to explore its archaeological collections and the galleries available during your visit. This is the Tahrir museum, not the Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza. A particular temporary display or object is not guaranteed as part of the excursion.
Old Cairo & Khan El Khalili Your journey continues into Coptic Cairo, a spiritual haven where you will visit the Hanging Church (built on the ruins of a Roman fortress) and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Finally, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Islamic Cairo at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Wander through labyrinthine alleys filled with the scent of spices, the shine of copper lamps, and the chatter of local merchants.
Evening: Return to Aswan As the sun sets over the capital, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Aswan. Upon landing, our representative will be waiting to drive you comfortably back to your hotel, your mind filled with memories of the Pharaohs.
